About Josiah
Josiah Howlett is an actor/singer/voice teacher/loud sneezer who currently works with Moss Performing Arts Academy in Fort Wright, KY and The Carnegie in Covington, KY. He discovered his love for theatre during his freshman year of high school when he made his onstage debut as a “Corny Collins Back-Up Singer” in his school’s production of the hit Broadway musical, Hairspray. (Not even one of the “Nicest Kids In Town,” y’all). However, after moving up the ladder in the elite world of high school theatre, Josiah decided that this was, in fact, the career for him. So, he decided to study musical theatre at Western Kentucky University. He graduated with a B.F.A. in Performing Arts in May of 2018.
Aside from his love of theatre, Josiah has many other passions including Special K cereal, women’s wrestling, and the Baby Grinch from the live-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas film (just to name a few). He is also an avid, borderline obsessive, watcher of reality television and could easily tell you the names of every single “Bad Girl” from any season of the Oxygen series, Bad Girls Club (barring seasons 15 through 17, which took place when Josiah was no longer able to mooch off of his parents’ cable subscription).
